International Conference on Reproduction and Endocrinology at Navrachana University
“Animal research is important part of science and we need big animals like Sheeps and pigs to find medical treatment for humans. The research will help to find cure for diseases like Alzheimer, cancer and even diabetes,” said Prof. Paul J Verma Prinicipal scientist for USA. He along with scientists and researchers from all across the world gather in Vadodara for a International Conference on Reproduction, Endocrinology and Development.
About 50 eminent scientists and researchers from across the world is in Vadodara to speak at the first International Conference on Reproduction, Endocrinology and Development being organized by the Division of Life Sciences at the Navrachana University from January 18 to 21.
There are 17 speakers coming from countries such as Canada, Australia, France, USA, Italy and Singapore and speak on various topics related to human health.
More than 250 participants are attending the Conference from Universities as well as from Scientific, Pharma and Medical institutions across the country.
For the first time the Conference bring basic scientists and clinicians to a common platform so that they could collaborate for a better research base in these fields and also work together for finding solutions to the emerging and challenging health concerns in the coming decades. A unique panel discussion, Bridging Partnership: For Collaboration and Therapeutic Innovation, between scientists and clinicians is designed as part of the Conference.
There will be oral and poster presentations by young and budding researchers and prizes for best poster and oral sessions shall be given as a part of the Conference.
Topics like cancer biology, stem cells, male fertility, female fertility, animal research, toxicology and many others will be discussed in four days international conference.
The Conference is organized with the support of the Society of Reproductive Biology and Comparative Endocrinology (SRBCE), Chennai, and the Baroda Obstetrics and Gynecology Society (BOGS) which is the city-level chapter of the Federation of Gynecological Society of India (FOGSI). The Department of Science & Technology (DST), Govt. of India, SERB, GSBTM and Union Bank of India are also supporting the Conference.
