Intern doctors of Gotri and Sayaji hospital on strike

Demand to increase their stipend

Intern doctors of Gotri and Sayaji Hospital in Vadodara on strike in view of the their various demands. The demonstration has said to be disrupt the treatment of Corona patients.

On Monday intern doctors went on indefinite strike with a demand from government to increase in stipend. Around 280 intern doctors from Sayaji Hospital and 100 from Gotri Hospital went on strike and demonstrate with placards and banners.

The protesting intern doctors demand the government shall increase the stipend from Rs 12,800 to Rs 20,000. They also demanded Rs.1000 per day for working in Corona ward.
