The much awaited INIFD Annual Design Show SPECTRUM 2017, is back with a bang, and this time the organisers are taking the theme ‘Travel the World’ to celebrate the moments of unite humanity. The idea for taking this theme is to bring peace from war and live the dream of united world.
There are total 15 sequences with three time slots in the show and the students designed the clothes inspired from traditions and uniqueness from different countries all across the world. One of the interesting sequence this year is fall of Berlin wall which shows the unite theme and the students showcased it in their designs.
“TRAVEL THE WORLD” is our theme chosen for this year. The students broaden their design sense by studying and getting inspired by the geography, history and culture of different cities and countries of the world. This journey takes you through the serenity of Japanese art to the frenzy of a Brazilian carnival. We celebrate moments that unite humanity, such as the fall of the Berlin Wall, also take pride in showcasing the grandeur of French Baroque as well as the majesty of nature itself such as the unique Jellyfish found Down Under,” said Kamadeep Sondhi director INIFD Vadodara.
The students use various forms of Painting, Printing, Embroidery, Laser cutting, innovative tailoring techniques into making these fabulous collections. The beauty of a creation multiplies through good presentation so the organisers called in top Models such as Natasha Suri ( Femina Miss World India, 2006) and Suchita Sharma ( Winner Elite Model Look India, 2004) along with other top models to promote the work done by students.
