It's a gala event to remember where the top models of the country walk the ramp showcasing the unique styles inspired by bollywood. The INIFD Baroda annual fashion show mesmerise the audience and took them to a journey towards the dream world.

INIFD annual show is the eagerly awaited event every year and this time also the organisers gave the audience a glimpse of latest trends and designs. This time bollywood is the theme and students of final year design the garments inspired by the dream and glamorous world which every youth wants to be a part of.

The show starts with a tribute to the first female superstar and icon late Sridevi with a one minute silence followed by her iconic characters. The models showcased the garments inspired from her films like Khuda Gawah, Mr. India, Chalbaaz, Mom, English Vinglish and others. The sequence took the audience to a era ruled by the iconic actress.

This year the students of the final year choose the theme of bollywood and design their garments inspired by some actress, film and era. The inside out collection inspired by the character of Ishaan from the movie Taare Zameen Par followed by the sequence on Mary Kom showcased her personal life and journey towards her achievement.

One of the inspirational sequence was Embryonic fashion where the models showcased the life's best experience of an actress of becoming a mother. Modern leela inspired by the character of Deepika Padukone in the movie Ram Leela showcase the fierce glory of modern Indian women set against the backdrop of a rural yet modern Gujarat.

Shades of Grey sequence was inspired by the poem from Pink movie presenting the girls power. The designer used various materials like gajji silk, taffeta, silk, micro satin, net and cooton in black and grey colours. Black colour shows power, protection, strong and secrecy.

The other sequences to mention are Calender girls, crystalholic inspired by high fashion garments worn by Sonam Kapoor, Dream Girl inspired by Hema Malini, Jackets Amore inspiration from movie 2 states, disco deewane inspired by the disco fever of 80's and styled by Rishi Kapoor, Praveen Babi, Zeenat Aman, Mithun Chakrobarty, Helen and others.

The show ends with the sequence on colours of friendship celebrating the bonds of friendship survive in bollywood both on and off the silver screen.
