It’s a matter of pride for Baroda as garment designed by INIFD student designer was showcased at prestigious New York Fashion Week.
Under the mentorship of New York based Fashion Editor and Hollywood Celebrity Stylist James R. Sanders the student designers created collections that reflected thought-provoking construction and aesthetic with New York sensibility.
Capturing the spirit of India with students coming from diverse backgrounds, they focused on fall winter trends while embracing a certain and exciting 2018 season.Its for the first time that INIFD presented the runway show “Vibrant India” during recently concluded New York Fashion Week. “Iam incredibly proud of the designers. Not only are they talented, but they are fashion driven people who are certain to take the industry by storm,” said Sanders.
Kamaldeep Sondhi Director INIFD Baroda said that “It is a matter of pride for our city as our designs were the part of VIBRANT INDIA which speaks to the movement, weaves, draping, and all that is unique about Indian textiles. It’s vibrant colors with rich deep hues and fabrics that are one-of-a-kind due largely to the craftsmanship that makes India a powerhouse source for fashion and goods.”
Students of INIFD Baroda were jubilant on their success at most prestigious International platform New York Fashion Week and they celebrated with full zeal and enthusiasm.
