    Many villages have flooded after heavy rains in Vadodara city-district in last 24 hours. The lake of Indraad village in Savli taluka overflowed and the water reached to the part of the village.

    In addition, the villages around Indraad village have lost contact due to on the roads coming from the lake, ravine and Vishwamitri river.

    The lake of Indraad village in Savli taluka overflowed and the water reached to the part of the village.  Along with this the water from the ditches and fields entered into the Vankarvaas and Tadfalia of the village.

    Indraad Samlaya road is closed due to the water coming from the ravines. Apart from this, on the way from Indraad to Bhaniyara village water entered after Ganeshpura village.

    On the way from Indraad to Pilol, on the way to Motapura and village, the traffic of was closed as water from Vishwamitri river entered in the area. Along with this contact is lost between Indraad and Khokhar.

    Lakes in many villages, including Savli taluka, have overflowed due to heavy rains in last 24 hours. The farms have turned into ponds and heavy rains have caused extensive damage to crops, including paddy.

     If the rains could have not stopped, the condition of the villages would have been dire.  The villagers and the district administration had a sigh of relief as the rains stopped since late night.
