championship organised for the first time in Vadodara under the leadership of
District Collector Shalini Agrawal

The All
Terrain Vehicle Championship ends with great enthusiasm as college teams from
Indore and Ahmedabad wins in different categories. Acropolis college Indore
wins in electric while Silver Oak college became champions in petrol vehicle
category in the national championship held in Vadodara for the first time.

The ATVC championship was organised for the first time in the city under the leadership of District Collector Shalini Agrawal. The competition stretched to five days where the vehicles are tested on 3 criteria such as inspection, break test, sludge pull test, best innovation and weight. Meanwhile testing the vehicle, dynamic parameters such as menus, maneuverability, suspension and traction tests, endurance test are also considered.

At the end
of the championship Acroracers team from Acropolis college Indore declared as
overall winner in electric category. CMS college of Institute and Technology
Samskara team declared as runners up in the same category.

Sparex team
from Silver Oak college Ahmedabad win in petrol vehicle category followed by
Team Endurance Racing B Wit team from Pune and SIES Graduate school of
Technology comes second runner up in the same category. Prize money of 12 lakhs
was distributed to the winners in different categories.

Collector
Shalini Agrawal said the 21st century is all about youth, women, knowledge,
skill and talent which was showcased in every participant of ATVC in Vadodara.
The whole event was designed for youths in the centre which includes HR summit
and mega job fair along with the championship. The event will proves to be a
stepping stone in their careers and their designed vehicles will contribute in
E Vehicle innovations and Make In India concepts. She congratulated every team
and wish them luck for their future endeavors.

Earlier the
final day if the competition saw daredevil stunts by the designed vehicles on
the test tracks. The teams from all across the country show their creativity
and innovation in the five days fest and compete each other to get the chance
to perform at the international level later on in the year.
