A cyclonic storm “ Tauktae” lay centered approximately 620 KM South-South West of Mumbai and likely move north north eastward towards Gujarat coast around 18 May 21.

The Indian Coast Guard initiated mitigating measure to avoid risk of life and property at sea. Towards the endeavor the Indian Coast Guard issued advisory through the Ships and Aircraft on routine patrol regularly transmitting message to the Fisherman so as to return harbor prior to cyclone hitting the coast.
