Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya to visit Kerala today to review Covid-19 situation

As Kerala continue to report surge in Covid cases, Central team headed by Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, will reach the State today to take stock of the situation. Sources reports that the Union Minister will hold talks with Chief Minister, State Health Minister and other senior officials.

Mr. Mandaviya will also visit Government Medical College Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram to assess the Covid-care facilities. Meanwhile 18,582 new Covid positive cases were confirmed in the State yesterday. The Test Positivity Rate stands at 15.11%. Presently over 1,78,000 active covid cases are there in Kerala.
