According to reports, the two terrorists killed today included top Jaish leader Yasir Parray and an expert in improvised explosive devices (IEDs).

Sharing more information, Vijay Kumar, Inspector General of Police, Kashmir, said, "Top JeM terrorist commander Yasir Parray, an IED expert and foreign terrorist Furqan were neutralized in the Pulwama encounter."

Both were "most wanted terrorists," according to Vijay Kumar, who was involved in various terror-related crimes, and their assassination is a major victory for the security agencies. The fight started earlier in the day in Pulwama's Qasbayar neighborhood.

After a joint police-army squad cordoned off the area and initiated a search operation based on specific intelligence about the presence of terrorists, the gunfight occurred.

As security personnel closed in on the terrorists' hiding place, they were met with a barrage of fire, which sparked the confrontation.
