Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Maharashtra and Goa tomorrow. He will reach Nagpur Railway Station at 10 in the morning where he will flag off Vande Bharat Express.
The Prime Minister will take a Metro ride from Freedom Park Metro station to Khapri Metro Station, where he will dedicate 'Nagpur Metro Phase I' to the nation. During the programme, he will also lay the foundation stone of 'Nagpur Metro phase- II'.
He will inaugurate Phase- I of the Samruddhi Mahamarg connecting Nagpur and Shirdi and undertake a tour of the highway.
PM Modi will also dedicate AIIMS-Nagpur to the nation.
In a public function in Nagpur, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone and dedicate to the nation rail projects worth 1500 crore rupees.
He will also lay the foundation stone of the National Institute of One Health and Nag river pollution abatement project in Nagpur.
Mr. Modi will dedicate the 'Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology, Chandrapur' to the nation.
He will also inaugurate 'the Centre for Research, Management, and Control of Hemoglobinopathies at Chandrapur'.
Later, the Prime Minister will address the valedictory function of the 9th World Ayurveda Congress in Goa. He will also inaugurate three National Ayush Institutes during the programme.
PM Modi will also inaugurate Mopa International Airport in Goa.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde held a meeting to review the preparations ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Nagpur to inaugurate a slew of projects including the Samruddhi Highway tomorrow.
During the review meeting yesterday, Mr. Shinde has thanked the Prime Minister for approving two other projects, namely rejuvenation of Nag River and the second phase of Nagpur Metro.
Talking about the Samruddhi Highway, Mr. Shinde said that the longest Greenfield road project in India will prove to be a game changer and it will aid the industrial development of Vidarbha and Marathwada regions.
