President Droupadi Murmu to attend valedictory function of platinum jubilee celebrations of Odisha HC
The President will also visit the birthplace of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose in Cuttack
President Droupadi Murmu will grace the valedictory function of the 75th year celebrations of the Odisha High Court at Cuttack in Odisha today, July 26.
She will address the annual function of SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack, and grace the convocation of National Law University Odisha at Cuttack.
The President will also visit the birthplace of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose in Cuttack.
Tomorrow, the President will interact with the members of the particularly vulnerable tribal group PVTGs at Raj Bhavan in Bhubaneswar.
On the same day, she will launch this year’s theme of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya “The Year of Positive Change” for conducting nationwide seminars and conferences and lay the foundation stone for its “Lighthouse Complex” at Dasabatia, Tamando in Bhubaneswar.
President arrived in Bhubaneswar yesterday evening on a 3-day visit to Odisha. Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Chief Justice of Odisha High Court Justice S Muralidhar, and senior state government officials welcomed the President at the Biju Patnaik International Airport.
The President, breaking the protocol, got down from her car to greet the tribal folk dancers who gathered in large numbers at the airport to greet her.
After arriving at Raj Bhawan, she interacted with the beneficiary medical students sponsored by the ATUT-BANDHAN family.
