Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the Madhya Pradesh Startup Policy today via video conferencing.
PM Modi will address the startup community during the Madhya Pradesh Startup Conclave being held in Indore.
Prime Minister will also launch the Madhya Pradesh Startup portal, which will facilitate and help promote the startup ecosystem.
Madhya Pradesh Startup Conclave will witness participation of various pillars of the startup ecosystem including policymakers from government and private sector, innovators, entrepreneurs, academicians, investors, mentors, and other stakeholders.
It will witness a variety of sessions including speed mentoring sessions, and in the session, startups will have a dialogue with leaders of educational institutions and startup space.
Besides, there will be a how-to start startup session, where startups will be guided by policymakers, and a funding session, where entrepreneurs will learn about various funding methods.
During the conclave, startups will get an opportunity to collaborate with investors and put forth their ideas for funding where participants will learn about brand value and about promoting startup ecosystem in the state.
Sources reports that the Startup Conclave-2022, organized at the Brilliant Convention Center, Indore, will be attended by various stakeholders.
There are many features of Madhya Pradesh Startup Policy 2022 that give it a different identity in the country.
It includes establishment of Madhya Pradesh Startup Center with the help of subject experts institutionally, development of a robust online portal, exchange of necessary academic support from universities and other educational institutions including national and state-level technical and management institutions.
It is noteworthy that more than 500 startups in Madhya Pradesh have received recognition from the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade during the last year. Similarly, out of the more than 1900 recognized startups, most of the startups are in the progress stage.
Around 31 percent of startups are located in Bhopal and 44 percent in Indore in the state
