More than 35 crore 28 lakh doses of Covid vaccine administered in country so far

More than 35 crore 28 lakh Vaccine Doses have been administered so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. Health Ministry said, in the last 24 hours more than 14 lakh 81 thousand vaccine doses were administered. The recovery rate has improved to 97.11 per cent.

More than 42 thousand patients recovered during last 24 hours. Till now, more than 2 crore 97 lakh people have recovered from Covid-19. Daily recoveries continue to outnumber the Daily New Cases for the 53rd consecutive day. Over 39 thousand new cases were reported in the last 24 hours. India's Active Caseload has declined to 4 lakh 82 thousand 71.

Active cases constitute 1.58 per cent of total cases. Weekly Positivity Rate remains below 5 per cent and it is currently at 2.40 per cent. Daily positivity rate is at 2.61 per cent and it is less than 5 per cent for 28 consecutive days.

723 deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours. With this the death toll due to the pandemic has reached 4 lakh 2 thousand 728.

Health Ministry said, testing capacity has been substantially ramped up and till now 41 crore 97 lakh tests have been conducted. Yesterday, over 15 lakh 22 thousand tests were conducted.
