Health Ministry: More than 45 crore 37 lakh Covid vaccine doses provided to states, UTs so far

Union Health Ministry has said that more than 45 crore 37 lakh Covid vaccine doses have been provided to States and Union Territories so far, through all sources.

Health Ministry in a statement said that in addition to it, more than 11 lakh 79 thousand doses are in the pipeline. Of the total doses provided to the States and UTs, the consumption including wastages is nearly 42 crore 8 lakh doses.

The Ministry added that more than 3 crore 29 lakh unutilized COVID Vaccine doses are still available with the States and UTs and private hospitals to be administered.

The Union Government is committed to accelerating the pace and expanding the scope of COVID-19 vaccination throughout the country.
