Hours after the court-mandated videographic survey of Gyanvapi mosque complex was concluded, a court in Varanasi asked the Uttar Pradesh government to immediately seal the place where a 'shivling' has been found.

Earlier in the day, the Hindu side advocates claimed that a 'shivling' had been found inside a pond in the Gyanvapi mosque complex during the videography survey.

Lawyer Vishnu Jain had also asserted that he would go to the civil court to seek its protection.

Meanwhile, the court has also asked authorities to bar people.
