Govt disburses Rs 30 crore to beneficiaries during 2022-23 under PLI Scheme for Drones

Tweeted By AIR Government has disbursed an amount of 30 crore rupees to the beneficiaries during 2022-23 under the PLI Scheme for Drones and Drone Components.

Civil Aviation Ministry said that to promote the indigenous drone industry, the government notified the Production Linked Incentive scheme for drones and drone components in September 2021.

The Ministry said, the step was widely welcomed by academia and industry experts.

The coverage of the scheme also includes developers of drone-related software also.
