The Cabinet approved modifications in the Programme for Development of Semiconductors and Display Manufacturing Ecosystem.

Mr Thakur said, there will be 50 per cent incentives for semiconductor fabs across technology nodes as well as for compound semiconductors, packaging, and other semiconductor facilities.

The Cabinet approved the National Logistics Policy. The policy was unveiled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently to bring down logistics costs, ensure seamless movement of goods in the country and improve efficiency and global positioning. 

The Policy sets targets to improve the country's Logistics Performance Index ranking and bring India into the top 25 countries by 2030.
