On the basis of behaviour detection, the CISF surveillance and intelligence of Hyderabad airport noted unusual movements of a passenger while entering the terminal building on Monday (November 8) morning.

According to CISF, the passenger was identified as Mr. Syed Khalid (Indian) and was travelling to Dubai on flydubai Airlines aircraft No.FZ-440 (STD 1020 hours).

On suspicion, the suspect was sent to a random checkpoint to have his luggage thoroughly inspected. The CISF personnel discovered a strange image inside his purse when screening his luggage using the X-BIS scanner.

During a physical search of his purse, 65000 Saudi Riyals worth about INR.12,86,000/- were discovered hidden inside the pockets of his garments. Senior CISF officers and Customs officials received the communication.

The claimed passenger was thereafter handed over to Customs officials, along with the discovered foreign currency worth INR 12.86 lakh, for further action in the matter.
