The 35th edition of India International Leather Fair (IILF) Chennai, was held from Feb 1-3, 2020 at Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam, Chennai. India International Leather Fair (IILF) had display on the entire range of products relating to leather industry from raw material to finished products and auxiliary products such as finished leather, shoes, shoe components - uppers, soles, heels, counters, lasts, leather garments, fashion accessories, leather goods, machinery & equipment and chemicals.
Latest expressions of the trends, styles, designs, and colors in world fashion will be shown here. IILF has all along been a vivid presentation of the leather industry.
35th IILF Chennai was attended by the students of B.DES. 18th Batch and final year students of footwear, FDDI Ankleshwar Gujarat.
Our students have also visited the designer’s Fair organized by Council for Leather Exports (an autonomous organization under Ministry of commerce and Industry, Govt. of India) in Chennai during 1-3 February 2020 .This fair inspire and elevate the ‘design capabilities’ in our students as, “Innovation and design is the key,” for new development “Design and breakthrough innovations can play a pivotal role in positioning of leather and leather product industries in the global arena by value addition apart from enhancing competitiveness, says faculty from FDDI Ankleshwar Gujarat.
