Heavy rains accompanying with winds in Vadodara city not only flooded the areas but the incidents of short circuit, dilapidated structures, trees uprooted were also witnessed during the time. However no life loss was reported in such incidents.
As per the details from fire brigade on Saturday morning their recieved a call about fire inside garments shop in Fatehpura Koyli Falia. The teams immediately reached the spot and controlled the fire with continuous spray of water. However no one was reported to be injured in the incident but the items inside the shop was destroyed.
In another incident a office in EME Nizampura caught fire due to short circuit destroyed the fridge and other items kept inside. However the fire brigade controlled the fire in time before the fire spread further.
A wall of dilapidated house in Rangmahal caved in due to heavy rains accompanying with winds in the city. Trees were also uprooted in many areas but no injuries are reported.
