MP Mansukh Vasava inaugurated the lifts at Ankleshwar station today (08.11.2019). Vadodara division of Western Railway has always been committed to passenger amenities.
Under this, platform No. of Ankleshwar station of Mandal for the convenience of passengers, three lifts have been placed on 1, 2/3 and 4.
The total cost of the three lifts is estimated about 1.30 crores while the cost of a single lift coasted about 42.24 lakhs. In addition to safety matter lifts are equipped with modern facilities for passengers, Divyang friendly features are also installed.
Special Features of Passenger Lifts:
Running at a speed of 1 meter in a second, this lift can carry a weight of 20 passenger or 1360 kg.
These lifts without room and gear have provision for gates on both sides.
Under safety measures these car lifts have electro mechanical door locks. There is also a provision for automatic Rescue device with UPS and SME batteries in case of power failure.
