IGP Vadodara will do the departmental inquiry in Surat millionaire cop matter

Vadodara range IGP will look after the departmental proceedings after the investigation of millionaire cop of Surat booked for corruption charges. Prakash Patil assistant sub inspector booked and following an inquiry worth crores were found in his and his family members name.

Prakash Patil ASI in Kadodara police station at the time was booked for corruption charges and an inquiry was conducted for having disproportionate assets. The inquiry was ordered after property worth crores were found in his and his family members names. The worth of his properties are around 200 percent more then his legal source of income.

Following the inquiry about his properties the investigating team found plots, Bungalows, shops and other properties registered in the name of crorepati cop and his family members. The properties worth in crores as per records.

After his arrest the investigation was going on and now the departmental proceedings will be conducted by IGP Vadodara range.

“The investigation is already over and now the departmental inquiry will be conducted in Baroda range,” said G.S. Malik IG Vadodara.
