The actor although looks modern from outside but from inside he is a religious person. In his day to day life the actor never forget to take the blessings of Lord Ganesha. The actor installed the idol of the lord at the entry door of his house and everyday he steps out only after taking the blessings of Ganesha.The family of Hritik Roshan celebrates the festival of lord Ganesha for many decades and since childhood he is worshiping the god in his house. The actor continues the family tradition and every year he installed the Lord Ganesha and worship.

The actor is so reserved that he kept his life only to him and Ganesha worshipping is one of them. His same style was seen in the film Agneepath where he played the character of Ganesh Bhakt.
