Hindi diwas celebrations at SWAC

As part of Hindi Diwas Celebrations, a programme was organised for all Sanginis of HQ South Western Air Command under the aegis of Baljeet Arora President Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Regional) at Vayu Shakti Nagar, Gandhinagar.

Demonstrating their diverse talents Sanginis of SWAC in large numbers participated with enthusiasm in celebrating Hindi Diwas in the form of shayri and poetry recitation and declamation competition.

Arora addressed the gathering and educated them about the need of keeping their surrounding Swachh, rain water harvesting, water conservation and minimizing use of plastics. She also urged the audience to adopt the measures highlighted by her and contribute effectively in the national drive on these contemporary aspects.

In the end, she presented awards to all the winners and also lauded the Sanginis for their zestful performances. This initiative of AFWWA was the first of its kind and was well received by everyone present.
