    Tumours operated Laparoscopically by Expert team of Gynecologists

    During regular OPD consultation, a 38 year old female visited senior Gynecologist Dr. Komal Patel at Parul Sevashram Hospital with history of Distention of abdomen, heavy bleeding and pain in abdomen.

    After clinical examination and Sonography she was diagnosed with a big tumour resembling as a womb of a 5 month pregnant lady. Along with this she was also diagnosed with a big tumour in her Right ovary. The tumour size of the ovary was almost reaching up to rib cage.

    After listening to the side effects and complications of open surgery and visiting number of other surgeons, patient wanted to opt for Laparoscopic Surgery under expert team of Gynecologist at Parul Sevashram Hospital.

    Such big tumours are very difficult to operate and very few surgeons operate such high risk cases. Expert team of Doctors leaded by Dr. Komal Patel along with Dr. Sandip Parmar and Dr. Mayur not only diagnosed but also successfully operated the patient. Patient was monitored and successfully managed after a 5 hour long surgery where the whole team of Gynecologist, Anesthesist, and other paramedical staff were on the toes to make this medical miracle happen
