Bentley, Volvo, Bmw, Pajero, Volkswagen, Audi, Jaguar, Mercedes, Range Rover, Hyundai, Honda, Skoda, Chevrolet, Ford, Renault, Suzuki, Mahindra, and other luxurious cars are still parked there inside the Bhimpura Akhand Party Plot where the Vadodara rural police raid and busted a high profile liquor party running inside.

The pre marriage party of Ashna grand daughter of farm house owner Jitu Shah was attended by well known industrialists like Chirayu Amin who was also former IPL Chairman and Baroda Cricket Association, Rakesh Agrawal, Gita Goradia former FGI president her husband Amit Goradia and many others who were detained by the police and released on bail after taking their blood samples for testing. The police also detained two British Nationals from the farm house who are there to attend the party. The police arrested Jitendra alias Jitu Shah and Alay Shah under the New Gujarat Prohibition Act which has the provision for 10 years of jail term and its a non bailable offence under the New law.

The Vadodara rural police after a tip off raid the luxurious Akhand Farm situated in the outskirts of Vadodara city and found a liquor party is organising Inside. The police detained all the people including big names like Alembic group Chirayu Amin who was also former BCA President and IPL Chairman, Rakesh Agrawal, FGI former President Geeta Goradia her husband Amit Goradia and many other big names from Vadodara and other places. Two British Nationals were also detained by the police from the spot. Police detained 260 people from the spot and also seized branded luxurious cars from the farm house.

"Our team first went there in civil dress after the tip off and after confirmation we raid the farm house with five teams including SOG, LCB, Farlo, Padra and rural police. We found the liquor was served there to the guests by the catering people and we detained around 260 people both male and female from there. The list of people includes many big industrialists like Chirayu Amin, Rakesh Agrawal, Gita Goradia and members from United Way. We took the samples of all and later release them on bail after they deposit the bond in the police station. We also have the lady police team for the females to take their samples in the night at the farmhouse and released from there as per the law," said Saurabh Tolambia SP Vadodara. He also said that the british citizens were checked by the police as if they have the permit and other things.

The police recovered various brands of liquor including foreign brands like Scotch, Gold Label, Vodka, Glenfiddich, Bacardi etc. from the farmhouse worth around 1,28,950 rupees. Police arrested Jitu Shah and his son under the New Gujarat Prohibition Act and regiatered the offence. "After the implementation of the new law the provision is of jail term for 10 years and we arrest the father son duo for illegal possession of liquor and also inquire about from where and when they brought the liquor and kept inside and also serve the guests. Under the law it's unbailable offence and we are in the process to produce the accused in the court and asked for remand," said Tolambia.

All the 260 people detained by the police were released on bail after their blood samples were collected inside the SSG hospital Vadodara. "The females were released from the farmhouse after their samples were collected from there. The males were taken to SSG hospital in buses where there samples were collected by the doctors and later they were released on bail. We are waiting for the reports of the blood samples about the traces of liquor and will take action as per the new law against those whose reports came positive," said Tolambia.

The police seized 80 luxurious cars from the spot and they were kept inside the farmhouse. In between the routine investigation the other side of the police came to light when two of the women were taken to their home to feed their three months old babies and return back.

The police is in the process to trace from where the accused brought the liquor and kept inside the farmhouse. SP Saurabh Tolambia also warn the party organisers and goers for kept themselves away from illegal activities like liquor party and gambling as the police will not spare anyone. As the 31st night is approaching and after the implementation of the new prohibition law this is the biggest raid by Baroda police.
