Helpless old mother seek help of Vadodara collector to save her from own son

Abhayam team took her home to resolve the matter

Government, semi government agencies, social organizations as well as service minded people are unselfishly helping the people affected by the Corona virus epidemic in Vadodara. In between all these a case came to light in Vadodara where a helpless mother seek help from inhumane act of her own son. She approached the collector to help her and later sent back home by 181 Abhayam.

Radhaben, 65, lives with her son Chetan near Nani Shak market in Wadi Chokhandi area of Vadodara. On Tuesday she came to the collector’s office crying and wants to complain against her son. She complained of beating by her son, not gives food and torture her. Collector after listening to her request called the 181 Abhayam team and sent her home with the them.

Seeing Radhaben crying, people working there rushed and tried to console her. They were shocked to know about own son torture her and not giving food. They showed affection towards Radhaben and some of them asked for tea-breakfast and food. However she request them to make arrangements where her son keep her properly.

The incident became a matter of discussion as many feel the son should be sent to jail for his behaviour with his own mother. However 181 team in further investigating in the matter.
