In present challenging scenario, the team members of Help Desk at Sayajirao Gaekwad hospital in Vadodara accelerated their roles to extend help to the hospital staff. To deal with crisis the team identify the COVID 19 patients and shifted them to the special isolation ward.

Deepak Foundation in partnership with corporates and Department of Health and Family Welfare has operationalized the help desk and medical buggy services at SSG hospital. These medical services are functional 24*7 to provide timely services to critical cases referred from various regions. Information display monitors installed at the help desk reduces the waiting and inquiry time at the help desk.

The help desk team has been allocated duty of receiving and guiding all cases coming in the emergency department. On the basis of first information details received from patients, they identify them for general and COVID 19 wards respectively.
