Health workers gets training of operating the ventilators at Gotri hospital in Vadodara

Hospital is
operational along with the SSG hospital to treat the COVID 19 patients

More than
400 health workers are getting training about operating the ventilators at the
Gotri hospital in Vadodara. The hospital is operational along with the SSG
hospital to treat the COVID 19 patients.

Under the
instructions of state government, Vadodara district administration starts the
special 250 beds ward at GMERS at Gotri to treat the COVID 19 patients. Under
the instructions of district collector Shalini Agrawal, district health
department, State health and family welfare department jointly starts to give
necessary training to staff to fulfill the medical needs in time.

Presently 21
ventilators are installed in the hospital and nearly 100 paramedical staff get
training for the swift operation of the equipments. In coming days more than
350 nursing staff will get training in operating the ventilators.

Other than this Indian Society For Critical Care
Medicine will help in give training to 250 paramedical staff of district
hospitals, PHC and CHC. Chief District Medical officer Dr. Uday Tilawat said 20
