Vaccination has been made faster in the taluka

In Waghodia taluka, Six Dhanvantari Raths are providing health services to the people. Along with this, covid vaccination has also been speeding up by the health department. The taluka health officer informed the details during the visit by Vadodara district collector Shalini Agarwal on Thursday.

District Collector Shalini Agarwal and Chief District Health Officer Dr. Surendra Jain visited and reviewed in detail the situation of covid in Waghodia town and taluka.

According to the details given by the health officer of Waghodia, 600 corona tests are done during the day in Waghodia town and taluka. Waghodia has so far received 80% vaccination. About 87% of the people above 60 years of age have been vaccinated and 77% of the people have been vaccinated between the ages of 45 to 50 years.

The operation of Dhanvantari Rath was also inspected by District Collector Shalini Agarwal. A total of 6 Dhanvantari raths have been working in the taluka as well as a mobile team has been arranged by the health department to conduct a rapid survey. The team includes MPHW and Asha workers who conduct rapid surveys and provide assistance to quarantined patients.
