Amitabh Bachchan turns 77 on October 11, but the superstar has no intention of celebrating his birthday on this occasion.
Politely pleading with his fans to pray for his good health, Big B said, “What is it like to celebrate?” It is also like a normal day. I am thankful that I am still working and that my body is able to keep pace with my soul. ”
On his birthday, Big B recalled his old days when his father and the late poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan wrote and recited a poem for him on his birthday.
Recalling the old days, Big B said, “It was a family tradition. However, this tradition got a new definition when, after the fatal accident that happened to me in 1984, my father recited the poem on my birthday. It was like getting a new life for me. While reading the poem my father had left Tut. This was the first time I saw him breaking like this. ”
Big B said that a lot of things have changed over time, and birthday rituals too. He said, “I miss my father’s poem very much and the way my mother used to be excited that day, I also miss her very much. Now every year I am not interested in the custom of cake cutting. It has been replaced by a plate of dry fruits. ”
When asked about his unfulfilled dream, he said, “There are many! I want to play the piano I want to learn many languages. I wanted to work with Gurudutt. ”
At the same time, when asked what is his film, which he wants to remake, he said, “Nobody. What is it like to recreate the films that have been made. Why can’t we think of that? ”
His co-star Ayushman Khurana in the film ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ recently took him and said, “He is a 77 year old man thinking of a 24 year old.”
