Western railway to convert 15 special trains into superfast trains

For the convenience of passengers and with a view to meet the travel demand, Western Railway has decided to convert several Mail/Express Special Trains to run as Superfast Trains with new train numbers. These trains will run as Superfast Trains with immediate effect, from their forthcoming trip.

According to a press release issued by Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the details of the trains presently running and required to be converted to Superfast Trains are:

1) Train no. 19021 Bandra Terminus-Lucknow Express, currently running as Special train with Train No. 09021.

2) Train no. 19042 Ghazipur City-Bandra Terminus Express, currently running as Special train with Train No. 09042.

3) Train no. 19058 Manduadih-Udhna Express, currently running as Special train with Train No. 09058.

4) Train no. 19063 Udhna-Danapur Express, currently running as Special train with Train No. 09063.

5) Train no. 19064 Danapur-Udhna Express, currently running as Special train with Train No. 09064.

6) Train no. 19263 Porbandar-Delhi Sarai Rohila Express, currently running as Special train with Train No. 09263.

7) Train no. 19264 Delhi Sarai Rohila-Porbandar Express, currently running as Special train with Train No. 09264.

The following trains have not been started till date and will be converted into Superfast Trains on resumption of their services:

1) Train no. 19411 Ahmedabad-Ajmer Express, to run as Special train with Train No. 09211.

2) Train no. 19412 Ajmer-Ahmedabad Express to run as Special train with Train No. 09212.

3) Train no. 59425 Gandhidham-Palanpur Express, to run as Special train with Train No. 09405.

4) Train no. 59426 Palanpur-Gandhidham Express, to run as Special train with Train No. 09405.

5) Train no. 19335 Gandhidham-Indore Express, to run as Special train with Train No. 09335.

6) Train no. 19336 Indore-Gandhidham Express, to run as Special train with Train No. 09336.

7) Train no. 19025 Surat-Amravati Express, to run as Special train with Train No. 09125.

8) Train no. 19026 Amravati-Surat Express, to run as Special train with Train No. 09126.

It is worth mentioning that only passengers having confirmed tickets will be permitted to board these special trains. WR request passengers to adhere to all norms, SOPs related to COVID-19 during boarding, travelling and at the destination.
