West Ahmedabad to get 3 railway overbridges

With state assembly elections round the corner, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) is slated to announce three new railway overbridges for the western part of the city in the upcoming roads and building committee meeting on Monday.

The three railway overbridges will be constructed for Rs 221.54 crore.

One of the proposals is for the construction of a flyover connecting Makarba Corporate Road and SG Highway railway flyover at an estimated cost of Rs 80.63 crore. 

Then there is a flyover bridge connecting Vastrapur railway station and Butbhavani railway crossing proposed for Rs 66.76 crore. 

Finally, there is a Rs 74.15 crore railway flyover project between Hebatpur village on S G Highway and Science City Road.
