A Webinar was organised on roadmap to LGBTQ+ Societal Integration by MSU Baroda where Manvendra Singh Gohil, Crown Prince of Rajpipala, founder of Lakshya Trust and the first member of a royal family to openly come out as gay to the world speakes about the issues faced by the community and society acceptance.

The webinar began with University Song followed by honoring today's speaker by planting a sapling on his behalf on the campus premises. Dean OSD Prof. Dr. M.N. Parmar gave a brief introduction of Manvendra Singh Gohil, who is the first member of a royal family to openly come out as gay to the world.

Throughout the session, Manvendra Singh talked about his life, experiences and explained to the audience how discrimination is prevailing in tiny to huge amounts everywhere and the dire need for acceptance.

He talked about the Transgender Act and the role of transgender people in freedom fighting and explained how important is to read Indian Constitution for everyone not just lawyers to ascertain their rights.

"Ignorance should not result in discrimination"- is what he believes in and talked about his dream project, A LGBTQA community campus at his royal establishment of Hanumanteshwar for the social and financial empowerment of the LGBTQ+ community. As the Brand Ambassador of AIDS Healthcare Foundation India Cares, the world's oldest and largest non-profit organization for HIV testing and treatment, he spread awareness about including sex education in schools and showed how our history evidently shows its roots to be sexually liberated.

An interactive session was included in the webinar where he connected to the students and cleared their doubts on the Anti Discrimination act, Reservation issues for Transgender and the inclusion of Queer Studies
