Vadodara rural Local Crime Branch caught a big haul of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) hidden inside a godown at Kotambi. The team siezed liquor bottles worth 19.82 lakhs and declared four along with tempo owners and users as wanted and hunt is on to nab them.

The team is working on the information about Marwadi and Bishnoi gangs from Rajasthan supplies IMFL from rented godowns and shops kept in GIDC. On 16th October they received input about Shravan Bishnoi, Jagdish Bishnoi and Uraskhan Pirkhan all from Rajasthan kept godown at Shah Industrial Estate 2 at Kotambi and hide IMFL inside. From there they cut and trasfer it inside two tempos with motorcycle piloting to avoid police.

Based on that the LCB team reached there in private vehicles and after checking found the tempos loaded with IMFL parked inside the godown. They siezed 350 boxes stuffed with 7728 bottles and tins worth 19,82,400. Further checking they found Girish Patil as owner of the godown and rented it to Ravi Vaishnav of Rajasthan on 3/09/2021. The godown is used to supply liquor to all across Gujarat.

The team declared Shravan Bishnoi, Jagdish Bishnoi, Uraskhan Pirkhan, Ravi Vaishnav and tempo owners and users as wanted and hunt is on to nab them. Jagdish was also wanted in two offences earlier registered in Vadodara taluka and Chhani police stations.
