The government issued orders to speed up thr vaccination drive and specially urged the small and big traders to get vaccinated. It further states that if they failed to get the vaccine by June 30, their shops, beds, laaries will be closed. With that in mind, an awareness campaign was carried out in the city police station area by the Vadodara city police station to aware people about the importance of vaccine to save themselves and others from the deadly Coronavirus.

It is to be mentioned that the Central Government has launched the Vaccination Maha Abhiyan from June 21 to ensure that 100 per cent vaccination is completed before the possible third wave of Corona. As a part of which Vadodara Mahanagar Seva Sadan has also started a vaccination campaign by starting 260 centers. The city police has also joined hands to ensure that all the people of Vadodara get the vaccine.

On Saturday the city police department of Vadodara made announcement through loudspeakers in the areas within the limits of the police station and alerted the people to take the vaccine. In particular, traders doing business on roadsides and laaries, as well as small and large shops in areas including Mangal Bazaar and Nava Bazaar were sensitised to take the vaccine.

City Police station PI said the government had ordered all people to get the vaccine by June 30. An awareness campaign was launched in the police station area from this morning to ensure that all small and big traders get vaccinated. Even after today's awareness campaign, if they failed to get the vaccines then they will take action against them as per the government order.

In order to meet the target of vaccination, the police have been going to the slums in different parts of the city to aware people to get vaccinated and also take them to nearby centers to get vaccinated. Now an awareness campaign has been launched by the police under the Vaccination Maha Abhiyan to ensure that no one is deprived of vaccines.
