Vadodara police spread awareness among daily wagers who gathered at scheduled spots in the city in big numbers for work. The step is to make them aware about the possible spread of Corona and stop them become super spreaders.
After the relaxation given by the government in view of declining Corona cases, people are slowly get back to their routine work and Vadodara is once again coming to life. However the daily wagers gathered at scheduled spots every morning issues a threat of possible third wave.
Spots like Nyaymadir, Sangam crossing, Kadiyanaka are witnessing big number of wagers gathered every morning for work. Without masks and not maintaining social distancing, they are in process of becoming super spreaders of covid 19.
Taking a strong step Vadodara Police on Thursday spread awareness among such wagers gathered in big numbers for work. Heading by ACP C Division Megha Tewar, the teams of Roapura, Navapura and She team spread awareness about following covid guidelines at Bhagatsinh Chowk in the city. The message was loud and clear to wear masks, observe social distancing and get vaccine to save themselves and others. The teams also distribute masks to them.
It is to be mentioned that after the relaxation by government, people are roaming freely without any hesitation and often seen violating the guidelines. These daily wagers are doing the same and might be super spreaders in coming days when we are staring at the possible third wave.
