Vadodara police send three accused arrested in vehicle lifting and prohibition to different jails under Prevention of Anti-Social Activities (PASA) Act.

Karelibaug police send one habitual vehicle lifter accused to Bhavnagar Jail under PASA. The accused Bismillah alias Sahil Rajubhai Mahida (Garasiya) age 40, originally from Nadiad and presently resides at Gorwa area of Vadodara city is habitual vehicle lifter and continuosly involved in this crime. Based on that the papers were send to police commissioner and after the order, the accused was detained as dangerous person under The Gujarat Prevention of Anti Social Activities Act 1985, section 3(2) and send to Bhavnagar jail.

As part of maintaining law and order situation in view of the upcoming Panchayat elections, police is running a special drive in Vadodara district to find out prohibition cases and take action against arrested bootleggers under PASA. Based on that two bootleggers were also sent to jail under PASA by Nandesari police. PI S.A. Karmur send papers of Jignesh Kanubhai Mali, 19, resident of Padamla village in Vadodara district and Jignesh Mafatbhai Mali 20, resident of Khodiyar Nagar, New VIP road in Vadodara city, arrested in prohibition case at Nandesari police station. Jignesh Kanu Mali was sent to Rajkot and Jignesh Mafat Mali to Bhavnagar Jail under PASA.
