Vadodara Manjalpur police recovered the bike of MSU Baroda student leader Vasu Patel, who was found dead from the railway track near Manjalpur on 6th November. The investigating team also seeking mobile CDR, CCTV footage and taking statements of friends in the matter.

The body of former student Vasudev Pravinbhai Patel was found from the railway track near Manjalpur. Police began investigation after registered the case. However his friends, student leaders and brother raised doubt over the death and demand a fair investigation in the suspicious suicide. They gave a application to the Vadodara police commissioner on Tuesday.

"We register the statements of his friends about if he was in depression or any money matter issues. The bike was recovered from his friend house who said that the deceased gave him to ride in friendship. The mobile was switched off since the day of incident and we are in process to get the CDR for any clue. Our one team is working on to check the cctv footage based on the statements of his friends about his frequently visited places. There is no cctv alongside the track. We are trying every angle to get to the root of the incident, " Said PSI S. B. Shelana, Manjalpur police station.
