In a ill-fated incident a police jawan posted in Sama police station of Vadodara city died in an accident near Ranoli Bridge. He was on his way to the duty when the a tempo coming from the wrong side near Ranoli Bridge killed him on the spot. The incident send a pall of gloom in the police department, family and colleagues. The whole incident was captured in the cctv.
As per available details Rajendra Jaiswal, a resident of Ranoli village, is posted as ASI (Assistant Sub-Inspector) at Sama Police Station. This morning he was on his way to the police station as per routine, when a Eicher tempo coming from the wrong side hit him near Tapi Hotel under Ranoli Bridge. The ASI died on the spot in the ill fated accident. The incident was reported to the Sama police station and the police personnel on duty rushed to the spot. The family members were informed about the incident.
A Pall of gloom spread in Ranoli village over the death of Sama police jawan Rajendra Jaiswal who was killed in an accident. The Vadodara police also mourn the death of their jawan. Based on the cctv footage, the police have registered a case against the driver of the Eicher Tempo.
It is to be mentioned that due to the flyover bridge, accidents are often caused on Ranoli turning. This morning, ASI of Sama police station lost his life in an accident. Despite occurrence of such incidents due to heavy vehicles plying from wrong side no solution no action has been taken against such drivers and as a result innocent people lost their lives.
