Vadodara Mayor Keyur Rokadia issues strict warning to cattle keepers of the city to keep their animals indoors or else ready to face action from VMC and police. This comes in view of the incident where one female recieved stitches on head after hit by a cow. Gotri police registered the case under IPC 308, Attempt to commit culpable homicide.

As per details, Jagruti Pathak a housewife and president of VMC Ward 11 was on her way home from the ward office on 3rd December 2021. She was standing near the Ghadiyal Circle when a flock of cows came rushing towards her from Swaminarayan temple side. One of the cow with big horns hit her and she fell on the ground received injuries on her head. She was rushed to the hospital and received stitches on head. An offence was also registered with Gotri police station.

Taking a serious note on it Mayor Keyur Rokadia issues strict warning to cattle keepers to keep their cattle indoors or else ready to face action from VMC and police. "We came to know about the serious incident and once again asking the cattle keepers to keep their animals indoors. Earlier also we convey the message about taking strict action in case of life threatening and serious accident due to cattles. In this incident the police took action and registered case on our request. We once again request and also issue strict warning to cattle keepers to keep the animals indoors or else ready to face action by VMSS and police.
