A 25-year-old man died after falling from a height in Aatapi Wonderland in Waghodia on Monday afternoon.
Jitendra Solanki, a resident of Nimeta village, died on the spot as he suffered severe injuries on his head. The Waghodia police have registered a case of accidental death and begun investigations.
According to the police, the incident occurred at 1:30pm when Solanki was carrying out maintenance work on the zipline. While working, his safety belt came off and Solanki fell from a height of 80 foot. He was taken to a private hospital but the doctors declared him dead.
In 2019, a 12-year-old boy had died after he drowned in an underground water tank at this theme park. Hasnain Mansuri had fallen in the open tank and was found later during the search operation.
