Vadodara crime branch arrested interstate housebreaking burgular from Haryana
Involved in crimes at Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Haryana and Andhra Pradesh
Vadodara City Crime Branch arrested one interstate housebreaking burgular for theft of laptops, mobile phones, cash from the homes of students living as PGs. Tabrez alias Iqbal Khan from Haryana target such students through Google search and stole items from their houses after done reiki. He is involved in thefts in Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Haryana and Andhra Pradesh in the last two years.
A offence was registered in Bapod police station about theft of four laptops, eight mobile phones, hard disk and hands free from a house shared by students living as paying guests. Police began investigation after the complaint and after accessing CCTV and other technical sources found the involvement of one Tabrez alias Iqbal Khan resident of Haryana.
As he lives in sensitive area of Mewat, police team head by PSI RK. Torani lives in disguise as locals and after confirmation arrest him. During interrogation he revealed about his involvement in burglaries along with his partner Aftab resident of New Delhi. After google search about students lives in PG, they reach Vadodara and commit the crime. They also accepted their involvement in burglaries in Ahmedabad (8 to 10 times), Faridabad in Haryana and Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh.V
As per their modus operandi, they google search the address, area and locations of the students living in PG and reached the city. After check in to a hotel, they done reiki in daytime and commit burglary early morning at the target houses. After that they sold the items in Delhi and Haryana.
