Vadodara Congress protest outside SSG hospital under the Health Rescue Mission

Gujarat BJP is celebrating the five year rule of Vijay Rupani government through various programmes. However the Congress is raising their protest against the celebration and put allegations on government for failed everywhere.

On Monday under the "Health Rescue Campaign" the Vadodara Congress staged demonstrations outside the hospital with oxygen cylinders, posters of Remedicivir and raised slogans against the government. Police detained around 20 protestors including the Congress president and leader of opposition.

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani's government has completed five years. At that time, various programs are being organised by BJP in Vadodara city as part of celebrations. The Vadodara City Congress, on the other hand, as an opposition party, protested against the problems faced by the people during this period and Corona, such as shortage of remedicivir injections, shortage of oxygen cylinders, lack of ventilators. Vadodara city Congress leaders staged a protest outside Sayaji Hospital chanting slogans with posters and banners.

The protest was joined by a large number of women Congress leaders and members including Vadodara City Congress President Prashant Patel, Vadodara District Congress President Sagar Brahmbhatt (Coco), Leader of Opposition Ami Rawat, Satyajit Singh Gaekwad, Bhikhabhai Rabari, Chirag Zaveri, Amit Ghotikar, Jago Brahmbhatt.

The Raopura police detained city Congress President Prashant Patel, Opposition Leader Ami Ravat, Jago Bhahmbhatt, Satyajit Singh Gaekwad, Amit Ghotikar and others. There were also heated arguments between Congress members and police. However, the police used force to detain most of the activists and put a complete stop to the Congress program.

City Congress president Prashant Patel said the BJP government in Gujarat had failed miserably in its five-year rule and was hiding its failures by holding celebrations. At the same time they are cheating the people. The Rupani government of Gujarat is also failing miserably in providing health services along with the education sector. People did not get proper facilities in the Corona epidemic. People have to wander for health oriented items including oxygen, ventilators and Remedicivir injections. The government has committed the big sin of hiding the death toll in Corona.

Leader of Opposition Ami Rawat said that Gujarat's Rupani government has failed in all areas in the last five years. They hid the death toll so that they don't have to pay compensation to those who died during the Corona period. According to Hindu scriptures, funerals are not performed on any evening, but under this government, funerals have been held late till night to hide the death toll. Private hospitals robbed people in the Corona era. The government has also failed to curb the black market of injections. Lack of oxygen has caused people to die.
