The Oasis organization is in the limelight after the mysterious death of a young girl associated with the them. Congress leader Narendra Ravat who knew the institute well at the time of its establishment alleged that Sanjeev Shah, the then chief administrator of the institute, misleading educated young men and women into engaging in indecent activities. He also put allegations on the organisation for involved in criminal negligence in the girl suicide matter and demand for police action.

Narendra Rawat, senior Congress leader and former student leader in Maharaja Sayajirao University in Vadodara put serious allegations on Sanjeev Shah the chief administrator of the institute of being involved in illegal activities. He said, Shah started working in Vadodara in 1991 and tricked many people with his feel good activities, made them volunteer and collect funding.

He impressed eminent persons with his speech and also acquired government land near the city and built a dome shaped house. Ravat alleged that he recieved complaint from the Sarpanch of the Sherkhi village about illegal and indecent activities inside the organisation. They protest at that time forcing the collector to get back the land.

He said Sanjeev Shah while studying in the engineering college present himself being good before everyone and always protest against the student leaders raised issues of the students. With his big group of students he took out rallies in white clothes and said to be purify the education. He gather donations with his acts by presenting his good image. Ravat said, some of the parents of girls complained to them and in 1995 they started agitation and banned the Oasis organisation as it is nothing to do with the university.

Narendra Ravat said that after 21 years, he was forced to raise his voice after the mysterious death of a girl associated with the organization. He blamed the organisation of involved in criminal negligence and demand investigation in the matter by the police.
