Vadodara BJP woman corporator bitten by street dog
Said vaccination of dogs compulsory, VMSS needs to work on control the menace specially in nights during winter
In a shocking incident a woman BJP corporator of Ward 13 Vadodara Jyoti Patel was bitten by street dogs while she was returning back from garba event. The incident happened on the night of Tuesday when the dogs attacked her near Shiabaug area of the city.
During winter the dog menace is at its peak and they often attacked the two Wheeler riders during the night on city roads. One such incident happened on Tuesday night where a woman BJP corporator of Ward 13 was attacked by street dogs near Shiabaug. She was returning back home from a garba event with her daughter when the dogs attacked her and bite on her leg.
"I was returning back home from Sharad Punam garba event with my daughter when the dogs attacked my two Wheeler. Suddenly more dogs rushed to me and one of them bite on my leg. This problem is more in winter season and specially in night where the dogs are more aggressive," Said Jyoti Patel. She is under treatment at home on doctors advice and if the pain increases then she has to admit in the hospital.
She further added that it is compulsory to vaccinate all the street dogs and VMSS teams needs to work on control the menace specially in nights during winter.
