A unique incident of Aadhaar Card entry of a lady inside the ambulance at Vasti Ganatari office came to light in Vadodara. The old lady suffering from multiple diseases and on dialysis reached the office with her son in a ambulance and the officer himself went down from the office and update the biometrics inside the ambulance.
The incident happened on Friday where Shamik Joshi Census officer and Aadhar card head of Vadodara Mahanagar Seva Sadan (VMSS), himself went down from his office with all the necessary equipments and update the biometrics of the lady aged around 76 years.
"Her son came to the office at Raopura on Friday asking for Aadhaar card updation of his mother suffering from multiple diseases and on dialysis. Due to sensible case I immediately went down without shoes to update the biometrics. Due to old age problem arised in finger image updation but thankfully i managed to get it in decided four trials, " Said Joshi.
He said, there are techniques which they used in such cases. Earlier he update biometrics of a Jain Sadhvi too. He done more than 380 such cases by different using techniques.
After the second wave he himself filled 11000 forms in last three months of new and updation of Aadhaar card. Being a non corrupt officer he believes in filling of forms, verifying and computer update by the corporation staff and remove the agent system. He said awareness in people is needed about the facilities available at government offices free of cost.
