Tribal Development Minister Ganpat Singh Vasava inagurate office of the divisional analysis committee in Vadodara

Gujarat government has implemented various programs for the benefit of the citizens of interior villages and areas. Under the guidance of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, the law on the validity of Scheduled Tribes certificates has been passed in the year 2017 and its strict implementation has been started by giving it a legal form.

Importantly, Ganpat Singh Vasava, Minister for Tribal Development inaugurate the office of the Divisional Analysis Committee at Vadodara which will verify the caste certificates of the Scheduled Tribes. The office, which will be functioning in room no. 728 on the seventh floor in the I block of Kuber Bhavan at Vadodara, covers districts including Vadodara, Dahod, Chhotaudepur, Mahisagar, Panchmahal, Anand and Kheda.

State Tribal Development Minister Ganpat Singh Vasava said that the state government is always committed to protect the constitutional rights of the tribals. Under the guidance of the sensitive Chief Minister of the state Vijay Rupani, the law on verification of Scheduled Tribes has been passed in the year 2017 and its strict implementation has been started by giving it a legal form. This law is better and comprehensive than the laws of all other states of the country.

Inaugurating the office of the Divisional Analysis Committee and Vigilance Cell at Vadodara to verify the caste certificates of the Scheduled Tribes, the Minister said that four offices have been set up in four districts of the state. Out of which two offices at Gandhinagar, Surat and today at Vadodara the office of Divisional Analysis Committee has been inaugurated. Following this divided system, candidates no longer have to go to Gandhinagar for verification of certificates.

This action will be taken under the supervision of a higher officer of Additional Collector level. The certificate issued by the committee will be valid for life. There will be no need to get it again and again. In matters like education, job or election, the benefit of tribal reservation will be given only on the basis of this certificate. He said that this is a system of strict vigilance to ensure that not a single true tribal is deprived of the benefits he deserves and the wrong person does not take advantage for which he thank Chief Minister Vijay Rupani.
