Prince Ashokraje Gaekwad school and Devyaniraje Gaekwad school organise Garba programme on Saturday in school campus. Around 400 students dance to the traditional tunes of Garba on the ground and other students join through online.



The speciality is that the students and teachers dance with traditional Garbi, lamps and others used to worship Maa Amba. Dr Tushar Bhonsle, Atta khan, Dr Kinjal Bhonsle sing live as revellers match the steps and dance their heart out.

"It's very refreshing for us as an artist as well as for students to dance to the traditional tunes of garba after a long time. Traditional garba is identity of Vadodara and we maintain the same by using tabla, dhol like instruments for the live garba. Most importantly we maintain the corona guidelines during the celebration, " Dr. Tushar Bhonsle.
